Dior | Live illustration

At a beautiful intimate party complete with champagne, custom French macarons, and VIP clients of the Dior Boutique at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, I had the unique opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s day doing live fashion illustrations.

…and something incredible happened.

A client advisor wanted to surprise her client with an illustration upon her arrival at the boutique. She showed me a photograph of this client and her partner attending the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week, with the Eiffel Tower in the background. I turned this photo into a watercolour illustration in 10 minutes.

When the client arrived, she fell in love with it immediately. She turned to her Advisor and asked, “do you have a frame I can buy for this?” And she brought her drawing home in a stunning silver Dior frame. In mere moments, my quick sketch turned into a forever keepsake that meant everything to this client. It was a privilege to be a part of this experience.
